Health & Safety accreditations
In maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, we hold a variety of safety accreditations.
Our SafeContractor accreditation recognises that MPJ Coatings is achieving rigorous standards of health and safety management excellence in the workplace and clearly demonstrating that health and safety is being handled correctly and sufficiently on client sites.
As a member of The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) who promote the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide, MPJ Coatings has the ability to deliver the IPAF training programme for platform operators, which is certified by TÜV as conforming to ISO 18878. In achieving the Powered Access Licence, MPJ Coatings holds the most widely recognised proof of quality-assured training for platform operators in the world.
MPJ Coatings is accredited with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. As a CSCS card-holder, MPJ Coatings is recognised to have the required training and qualifications for the work they carry out on construction sites.
Health & Safety training
We implement safe systems of work through ongoing training, external monitoring from safety advisors and regular (annual) policy reviews.
Our Health and Safety policy has been written specifically to work with the day-to-day running of MPJ Coatings to make sure it is relevant and embedded in the culture of our business.
This strict health and safety policy ensures that all our employees undertake regular training to fully understand and conform to company policy at all times. In addition to this, we have regular in-house and external Health and Safety training for our operatives and clerical staff and our team is required to attend all necessary client induction programmes.
Highest standards of equipment
All equipment we use is regularly tested and certified and all operatives take the necessary courses to be able to operate them with ease.
Health & Safety in the workplace
Each job we undertake is individually assessed, reported on and monitored to ensure the correct measures are taken to keep our clients, our staff and the public safe at all times.
The client is advised in advance if any risks are apparent and they are dealt with accordingly as part of our risk assessment mitigation practices.
We take responsibility for providing safe systems of work and conduct our planning to ensure it complies with company policy when implemented on site. As a client of MPJ Coatings, you will see that this is fully backed up by careful monitoring and ongoing supervision by qualified staff.
